Getting to know you
3 May 2011
Something I often wonder is, who’s reading? Followed by, what is it that they’d really like to read about? So that’s what I’m asking you today. What would you like to read about on the Kids in Australia blog?
Are you the kind of person who enjoys reading reviews? Or do you prefer a more personal touch, with a more “bloggish” style so you can learn more about the authors life? Maybe you come here looking for information to make your life easier? Anyway, complete the following poll so I can get to know you a little better!

I voted for 2!
Thanks Bec!
I would love to hear more about music and art outside of the branded media sutarated ‘stuff’ kids are exposed to. On one level this is for my gratuitous self promotion. But there are lots of issues re entertainment having to be connected with consumerism. Branding etc. Can not music and art be apt and fun for kids without being accompanied by toys, food, logos when it becomes more about the image and not the content.
sorry a bit waggly.

Arh yes Jamie, I hear you!
My girls only watch kids shows on ABC because every single time they watch commercial television they come away with a list as long as your arm of things they NEED.
I would like to hear more about homeschooling in Australia from the perspective of parents making this choice, kids involved and other people involved in the option.
Hi Liara,
Homeschooling was something we looked into for our eldest daughter, it was such a confusing process! Are you considering homeschooling for your kid(s)?
Leave your response!
