Booloo Babe

August 19, 2010

Booloo babe are two friendly mums that love meeting new families with young children. With a combined total of 4 children, our business was borne from a wish to provide a FREE face to face personalised service and modern cloth nappy advice to families wanting to purchase MCN.  With Booloo babe, parents can try a range of cloth nappies and products to suit their babe, all of which have been personally tried and tested on our own babes. We are proudly a one stop shop for all your cloth nappy requirements!

With Booloo babe’s FREE personalised service, we can fast track families’ understanding of modern cloth nappies so they experience success from the start. As the majority of modern cloth nappies are purchased online, many customers of Booloo babe love the opportunity to be able to see the products in person and get the perfect fit for their babe with no mess, no fuss, first time!

Some of the main things to love about MCN are:

  • saving families thousands of dollars compared to using disposables (think of what you could buy instead!),
  • they are environmentally friendly,
  • fashionable with lush, soft fabrics,
  • less fuss (no soaking, pins or harsh chemicals required),
  • AND you can say goodbye to smelly full wheely bins FOREVER!

For this cloth trial we decided to put forward our best selling product, GroVia.  GroVia is a One Size Fits Most, All In Two nappy, which allows if the nappy is only wet, for the soaker to be changed.  With GroVia, we know it has a great fit and is very reliable. It is also available in many colours and patterns (important for the cloth addict!) and is competitively priced.

We wish Lisa well with her trial of all the new nappies. We are thrilled to support such a busy mum (if Lisa can keep up with washing cloth nappies and five children, then the rest of us have no more excuses!).Wishing you well with your soon to be addiction, welcome to the world of Modern Cloth Nappies Lisa!

Thanks lovely ladies, big Sus Hemp and Avidiva fans here too!! The GroVia is $36 a nappy, they offer many packages, one for example being $83 for two shells and four soakers. They state six to eight washes for the soakers before use and to dry in between, however I couldn’t wait that long and was happy to risk it. Ours have all only been washed the once and till this day there has been only one leak, which was overnight and we hadn’t put in the booster. I should have prewashed it for you Lisa, fingers crossed it works well from the start though. Hope you’re getting this lovely sunshine to dry all those nappies.

I got it dry Sam put it on Elias and he poo’d in it within 20 minutes! LOL I guess that means he likes it :P I have the shell drying at this moment inside ready to go again with the other insert .. Round two baaaaaaaaaaaatter up ROFL

It’s ok that you didn’t prewash it. I am washing a load of nappies every day anyway with my routine so I just popped it into that load =) It fits him wonderfully though. I was very happy with it’s fit that’s for sure!
