1. What style of Nappy is the Nudey Rudey?

This nappy is a pocket nappy

2. what was your first impression on receiving the nappy before washing or using?

I was wondering how it would fit my baby because it seemed very big on the sides but it ended up a great fit.

3. Were the Instructions for washing and prepping the nappy straight forward?

Very basic washing and prepping for this nappy.

4. Did the nappy require washing before first use, and did you?

The nappy did require washing before use and yes I washed it before use.

5. Does the nappy come apart for easy washing and drying?

It is too easy to get this nappy apart and dry.

6. How long did it take the Nappy to dry?

Not very long at all for this nappy. The shell dries very fast and the insert within a few hours.

7. Did you use the nappy the first time through the day or night?

Daytime use for this nappy so far.

8. When you used the nappy the first time, how absorbent was the nappy. Please give a rating out of 5, with 1 being not so absorbent and 5 being very absorbent.

From the start maybe a 3 but after a few washes it is quite absorbent at a 4.

9. Did bubs have any appearance of redness from the use of the nappy, eg. around the legs or waist?

No redness or irritation from this nappy

10. How do you feel about the Nudey Rudey after using it the first time?

It’s a great nappy for daytime use and is a good nappy to have in your rotation.

Ishaq is looking very stylish with his lovely Nudey Rudey nappy and his Agoo leg warmers! I love the combination of nappy and leg warmers!  Gorgeous and comfortable. What better combination can you get.

What is your opinion on the different types of nappies? Are AIO or AI2 better than the pocket nappies?

  • Lisa Abejja said:

Hiya Danni. I must of wrote at same time as you and not realised. Yeah it fits them both equally :)

Tennille I love the AI2 nappies. because they are easier to take apart when dirty. I have to admit not enjoying putting my hand into a pocket to pull out a smelly wet insert. But in fit and ease of use. All are equally good. Plus the drying time on an AI2 or pocket is faster than an AIO From my experience anyway

Ishaq looks like a model in the making, lol! A rating of 4? did you have any wicking? Any #3′s? :)

  • Lisa Abejja said:

yeah Rubina it’s so trim this nappy. It fits under everything so easily :)

Lauren what’s wicking -blush- I have actually been quite spoilt in getting sent only great brands of nappies. They are thankfully all very absorbent they have their differences plus their ups and downs. But I’ll cover them when the questions change for new reviews cos don’t want to pick out someone now unfairly :)

Have you got a preference yet with the type; pop ins or snap ins? Oh I love Agoo bamboo leg/arm warmers I almost have the whole set of patterns for my daughter!

  • Lana said:

Oh gorgeous little fella! The nappy looks like a great fit!

The nappy looks great. I prefer AIOs myself, but have to admit that the pocket nappies look great, trim, and with the bonus of boosting more for nights. I’m loving leg warmers too for DD. :)

Theresa I think pop ins and pockets are great in their own ways. I honestly don’t have a preferance yet. It depends on what clothes they are wearing I think.

Oh this nappy looks great & doesn’t look bulky at all. Will be a great one for the stash since both of my boys could wear this since they are both in nappies.
Must be a hard decision Lisa to choose which nappy you like best?

I only have cheap pocket nappies from ebay sand they aren’t that great.. But what I have found is that I can leave the boosters in when I poop them in the wash and they come out while washing and still come out clean. Maybe you could try that if you have any more pocket nappies?

  • rubina said:

    Great advice Talitha,
I once did the same and forgot to remove the insert from the pocket and it came out nice and clean. But i usually make sure i take them out:)

Candice I hope I don’t have to choose! It will be SO HARD

oh I must have missed this review! twin pregnancy brain and flu is making me verrrrry slow and forgetful!

Ishaq is sooo gorgeous and that nappy looks so trim! I adore those Agoo leg huggers! It’s great to have them and be able to show off the mcn still :)

  • Meg said:

oh and Lisa sooo agree with you on pocket nappies being gross to get the inset out – especially if poop is hiding in there!! ewwwww!! is the pocket well designed so the poop doesn’t creep in there?

i do not envy you having to choose a fave among all the nappies you got but OMG sooooo jealous that you got them all. it is really awesome being able to follow you along on your mcn journey with two in cloth. i’m a bit worried about what it’s going to be like with 3!! eek!! will need soooo many nappies!!!!

Love the fact that this fits both bubs equally well!! Saves alot of money getting fitteds then having to purchase the next size up!!
